Routine Appointments

To see a doctor or nurse please make an appointment by telephone on 01920 468941 or in person.  Surgery times for each doctor vary.

You may choose to see any doctor you wish, but if possible please remain with the same doctor during any one illness.

Appointments slots are for 10 minutes; if you require longer than this please inform the receptionist.

It is important that a separate appointment is made for each member of the family who wishes to be seen, even if you consider that it will be "something quick".

If you cannot keep an appointment please remember to cancel it so it may be offered to someone else.

Urgent or Same Day Appointments:

The practice has been running  a telephone triage system for urgent and same day appointments since April 2006, many patients have found this very useful as there are many instances when a telephone consultation has saved the patient having to attend the surgery.

If you feel that something cannot wait until the next available routine appointment, please inform the receptionist,  who will add your, or the patients name, (if you  are calling on behalf of someone else), to the telephone triage list.

Please be aware that the receptionist has been asked by the doctors to obtain some idea of the reason that an urgent or same day appointment has been requested.  This is so that the Doctor or Nurse triager can priortise their telephone call backs.  If you feel unable or not willing to give a reason please just tell the receptionist that it is "personal".

A number of appointments are held back each day for the traige doctor or nurse to use.  However, please be aware that this may be with the duty doctor and not the doctor of your choice.

Abusive Behaviour

We do not tolerate abuse or violence in any form directed towards any member of the surgery team.

Violent patients forfeit the right to be seen in any General Practioners Surgery.
