Repeat Prescription Requests

You can now order your repeat prescriptions online. In order to access this service please sign up for Appointments Online (choose this option from the picking list on the left hand side).

Once registered and logged into the Online website, you will see an option 'Repeat my Medication' on the menu on the right hand side. When you click on this please follow the instructions to select the items you want. You may only choose from this list and should not use the message box to ask for any other medication. However if you take a regular medication that is not on the list please put a request in writing and drop it into the surgery. 

If you do not wish to use the online service, you can order repeat medication by ticking the items required on the printed request sheet issued with your last prescription. Place the request sheet either in the box provided in the surgery or post enclosing a stamped addressed envelope if you wish your new prescription to be posted back to you, rather than you collect from the surgery by hand.

Your repeat prescription request will normally be ready within 48hrs but if there is a problem with your prescription or you are due a medication review this  may take a little longer. On occasions the doctor may request to see you before a new script is issued.

Requests for medication cannot be taken over the telephone

Local chemists offer a collection service. If you would like to use this service please arrange this with the chemist of your choice and inform the surgery in writing.
